According to the official website, Don Ed Hardy is both a traditional and a tattoo, artist. The chance meeting with French designer Christian Audigier, spawned the Ed Hardy brand. Audigier has had much fashion experience prior to the venture with Hardy. In fact, two of the brands he may be most well known for are Lee and Von Dutch. Together the two have ignited the tattoo inspired fashion movement. Prior to this milestone in the company's history, there was sort of an entrepreneurial, nomadic existence for the business. At that time, the footwear found its home in several Canadian metropolitan fashion boutiques via departmental leased space.

ALDO makes beautiful shoes and I bought this pair in a Natural color, U.S. size 8....but to my surprise they run a bit small and I had to send them back and order a U.S. size 9. The size 9 shoe is a little bit big, but with an insole it fits perfectly...and the heel is about 4" but with the platform in the front they are very comfortable to walk in....I love them!!!
